The Kardashians
The hit Reality show “The Kardashians” first aired October 2001 and follows the life of Kim Kardashian and her excitingly blended family. The TV show highlights the chaos and excitement of their domestic life and chronicles how often they fight and make- up with each other.
The family includes the step dad, Bruce Jenner whom the mother, Kris Kardashian married around the seventies or eighties, and the Kardashian siblings. The biological father of the Kardashian siblings is Robert Kardashian who was one of the lawyers defending OJ Simpson in his trial. The main protagonist of the show is Kimberley Noel Kardashian, simply known as “Kim” who rose to fame as a very close friend of socialite Paris Hilton and who, like her friend, had a sex tape of hers and former boyfriend Ray- J made public when it fell into wrong hands.
The Kardashians became more popular as the show featured their constant squabbles as a family with strong willed and highly impetuous members. The show also featured their life as an elite family with their never ending engagements, parties, and appearances. They have become so big, that the family members were even able to establish clothing lines of their own as well as a perfume line by the Kim Kardashian.
